Our company was founded by a Danish craftsman, apprenticed and trained in Scandinavia, and certified as a Master Carpenter.  Beginning with a small shop in Connecticut, Traemand has grown into a company serving customers in six states – New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Texas, Louisiana and Massachusetts. Traemand is here to help.  We design IKEA kitchens, closets and bathrooms around the way you live and install the IKEA products you need to realize your dreams.  We have been installing IKEA cabinets for almost two decades in both in Europe and in the United States.

Traemand offers two services:

Planning Services.  A Traemand-certified measurement technician comes to you and measures your site. These measurements are sent to our certified planning team where they develop a set of customize plans so you can purchase exactly the cabinets you need.  Whether we install your cabinets or you do it yourself, this service will smooth your ordering process and design your project around the way you live.

Installation.  Your installation project will be completed by our installers using the specialized European techniques we have refined over thousands of cabinet installations.  Our proprietary installation methods make a real difference in both the appearance and durability of your kitchen, closet or bath cabinets.
